Item Description
First is 2.25" with photo and title of 1981 album "Shut Up 'N Play Yer Guitar." Upper right has tiny bump noticeable only to the touch caused by the bar pin on the back as made. Next is 1.75" button with metal back and bar pin. This has Zappa's face in a pumpkin design with surrounding text "WMMR'S Second Annual Zappaween At The Troc." This button is c.1986 and the word "Troc" refers to the Trocadero Theatre a location in Philadelphia that began in 1870 as the Arch Street Opera House but which was remodeled in 1986 into a concert hall and dance club hosting venues not quite large enough in more recent years for the Electric Factory. WMMR became a progressive rock station in the 1970s and is now sometimes known as "Philly's First Rock Station." Mint. Only one we've seen.
