Item Description
Pair of 10x12" sheets of animation paper, each w/images from the 1938 animated Disney cartoon. First sheet is marked "Sc. 51 - 62A" and features seated Ferdinand the Bull w/image area measuring 5.25x7". Second sheet is marked "50A - Sc. 54" at lower right and features expressive, full body image of matador. Both feature art w/images done mainly in lead pencil w/additional colored pencil accents. Both sheets have small "Copyright 1938 Walt Disney Productions" inkstamp at bottom. Ferdinand sheet has two 1" pieces of brown paper tape added at bottom for reinforcement, and sheets have lt. even aging and scattered trace of handling wear. 5/8" sliver off upper left corner. Matador sheet was at one point matted, w/art and immediate surrounding area having heavier aging. Art remains Exc.
