Item Description
Lot of seven sheets of animation paper ranging in size from 6.5x7.75" to 10x12". All feature storyboard art for gag featuring a fly that flies into Sneezy's mouth when he yawns, only to escape at the end of the gag when he yawns in a mine cart. Two smaller sheets feature fly buzzing around stretching Sleepy and then flying into his mouth as he yawns. Five larger sheets are each stamped "Unit G" and shows Sleepy in mine cart. Last two sheets have dialog text underneath art that read "Why Don't'cha (Yawns) Make 'Er A Bed?" and "When Your [sic] Through." This second to last sheet refers to the deleted bed-making scene in the 1937 animated feature film. An abbreviated version of this fly gag eventually made its way into the finished film. Sheets have varying degrees of aging/handling wear w/scattered pinholes at corners. Fine/VF overall w/VF/Exc. art.
