Item Description
17x25" framed. Issued in recognition of sales of Scorpions' 11th studio album "Crazy World" which was released Nov. 6, 1990. The album peaked at No. 21 on the Billboard 200 chart for albums in 1991. That same year, the song "Wind Of Change" reached No. 4 on the Billboard Hot 100 and "Send Me An Angel" reached No. 44. "Crazy World" was the last album to feature bassist Francis Buchholz, and by that extent, the last to feature the band's classic line-up. Top of display has two small replicas of the album, w/"1 Million Sales" and "2 Million Sales" engraved plaques underneath. Metal plaque w/RIAA hologram reads "Presented To John Scher - Metropolitan Entertainment To Commemorate The Sale Of More Than 2,000,000 Copies Of The Mercury/Polygram Records Album, Cassette And C.D. 'Crazy World'." NM. Wonderful presentation piece and ready for display. From the collection of John Scher, legendary concert promoter, producer and manager and comes with COA signed by him.
