Item Description
Lot of nine, each 2.5x3-1/8". From a set of 72 issued by Gum Inc. © 1940 Superman Inc. Choice color art fronts all featuring Superman in action. Card numbers and SGC grades are: 70 EX+ 5.5 #22; 60 EX 5 #s 19,36,41; 55 VG/EX 4.5 #s 9,32; 40 VG 3 #27; 20 Fair 1.5 #s 4,45. The two Fair cards grade this way because of some surface paper margin loss due to insects but this is only noticeable when viewed closely and cards are otherwise visually on par with the others in this lot, vibrant color and no creases. A nice group from one of the all time classic gum card sets.
