Lot of seven items that date from 1957 to 1959. First is "Bazooka/Blony" (see previous item #2405) premium booklet, 3x4" and opens to 8x11" w/printing on both sides. Front cover features both Bazooka Joe and Archie (of Archie comics fame) rest of booklet pictures the wide variety of prizes obtained w/gum comics. This includes MLB pennants and emblems, baseball ring, space phones, coonskin cap, etc. Also shown are the exact same T-shirt and "Gob" hat included in this lot. Aging as folded, Fine. The child-size "Goldweave" cotton shirt is 22" long and features the early incarnation of Bazooka Joe blowing a large bubble w/text "Bazooka The Atom Bubble Gum." Noticeable age toning. Fine. The hat is 8" dia. cotton w/pair of similar images and text as on the shirt w/additional text of "Big Chews Big Comics Plus Facts & Fortunes In Every Pack." Lt. aging, VF. Lot also includes four different Bazooka Joe comics, two w/ad for the shirt and two w/ad for the hat which is described as "Just Like Joe's Friend Tuffy Wears." Both the shirt and hat are rare and both are the first we've offered in our 47 years.
