Item Description
Matching pair of 2.75x4.5x5.5" tall carved Italian marble bookends each depict three-dimensional Trylon and Perisphere building as well as their Helicline (ramp). Most likely sold at the Fair's Italian Pavilion, each has matching "2243" etched number on underside as well as "Italy" text. Exc. Rare and first we've seen of this style. As a bonus, comes w/Perisphere half of ceramic Japanese bookend set w/"World's Fair" text on front. Exc.
