Pair of posters, first is BG-23; 14.25x20-1/8" second printing poster for Aug. 12-13, 1966 concerts at Fillmore Auditorium in San Francisco, CA. that featured the stand-out double bill of Jefferson Airplane and The Grateful Dead. Poster is unnumbered but BG-23 in the series. Design is by Wes Wilson and includes photos of each band by Herb Greene. This is a second printing distinguished by the size and the fact that the Wilson credit is omitted. Second is BG #NY4-1; 14x22" first and only printing stiff paper poster for Apr. 19-20, 1968 concerts at the Fillmore East in New York, NY. that featured Mothers of Invention and The James Cotton Blues band. Poster art by Helen Hersh features psychedelic tree imagery w/"Mothers Of Invention" name in stars and stripes design. Both have some lt. handling wear as rolled w/some lt. corner tip/edge wear. Exc.
