Item Description
Original illustrated cardboard box which features images of Mickey and Minnie Mouse on two side panels contains Toy No. 174 by Nifty, distributed by Geo. Borgfeldt. 1931. 5.5" tall tin litho toy features nice die-cut design depicting Mickey Mouse's head w/die-cut opening at mouth and eyes. Works but needs a new flint to spark. Box shows obvious and heavy wear w/both end flaps loose but included and missing all four inner flaps. Box has .75" to 1" tears at corner/edges and creases/punctures. Good. Toy has tiniest trace of wear w/bit of surface oxidation to silvered tin plunger. Still a very nice example. VF. From the Maurice Sendak Collection and comes with COA.
