Item Description
Pair of high quality china items made in Bavaria in the 1930s. Included are 3.5" tall creamer and 3.25" tall covered sugar bowl. Both have small image of Mickey Mouse on underside along w/"Mickey Mouse Trademark Registered - Authorized By Walter E. Disney - Bavaria" text. Both have incised "590-3" on undersides, indicating from same series. Large images on each side of creamer in bwr/yellow/blue. One depicts Mickey w/his arms in the air while other side shows Minnie Mouse holding two baby mice and rocking a third who is in cradle. Gold accent on top rim and handle shows scattered wear. VF/Exc. Sugar bowl features repeat image of Minnie w/baby mice and other side features image of Mickey w/concertina. Lid has small image of Minnie playing horn and tiny image of running cat on other side. Gold accents to rim/handles, edge and top of lid. Accents show scattered wear and are VF/Exc. From the Maurice Sendak Collection and comes with COA.
