Offered here is a costume worn by actor Gil Gerard in the 1979-80 NBC TV first season episodes of "Buck Rogers In The 25th Century". Costume consists of one piece flight jumpsuit with zippered pockets. The jumpsuit was originally white throughout the first season; however, the producers wanted the jumpsuit to be blue for the second season. In an attempt to reduce production costs, the costume department dyed the suit blue. As a result, the color wasn't satisfactory and they created a second season suit in blue for season two. Jumpsuit is now a shade of violet from the dyeing process. Has production company tag pinned to sleeve. Scattered aging and lt. wear from use but costume is VF overall. Comes with a COA from "The Museum of Mom & Pop Culture" signed by curator Alan J. Adler.
