Item Description
Lot of four, all 1922-1923. Lot includes 3x3" tall bisque w/wonderful design of Barney feeding Spark Plug hay w/both atop base. Underside has "DeBeck" signature stamp and incised "Germany" text. .25" chip to back of ear, not that noticeable when viewed straight on. Fine. 9-1/8x12.25" sheet music for "Barney Google Fox Trot" has six pages and shows scattered handling wear w/moderate creasing to top. VG. Both bisque and sheet music have King Features Syndicate copyright. Lot also comes w/1.75" tall painted cast metal figure of Spark Plug and accompanying 1" tall painted cast metal figure of seated Barney Google. Made in Germany. Moderate aging/paint wear, mainly to Barney, who retains 60% paint. VG-Fine. Last item is 2.25x2.75" figural relief cast metal paperweight showing Barney riding Spark Plug. Exc.
