Item Description
6.5x9.25" hardcover w/dust jacket. Second printing of American professional golfer Sam Snead's book "The Education Of A Golfer" that was published in Canada by The Musson Book Co., Ltd. in 1963. Golfing instruction/tip book written by Snead (w/Al Stump), one of the top players in the world for most of four decades. Snead won a record 82 PGA Tour events, including seven majors. He never won the US Open, though he was runner-up four times. Frontispiece has large and bold black ink inscription that reads "To Jerry McDowell With Sincere Good Wishes - Regards, Sam Snead." DJ shows wear, w/1" and 2" tears at top of spine, .5" tear at bottom and .75" tear along top edge of front cover. Spine has slight fade. Unclipped. VG. Frontispiece has 1x2" area of aging above inscription from old book label. Book is VF overall and title page's inscription/signature is not affected by label aging and remains Exc. Comes with Hake's COA and JSA LOA.
