Lot of eight CDVs. All 1860s. Most in this lot measure 2.5x4". Included are two different featuring Gen. Ulysses S. Grant (One measures 2-3/8x3.75" overall. c. 1865-1868. Name printed above image of Grant in uniform. Imprint on left side reads "Potters Patent March 1, 1865."), two different feature Maj. Gen. Philip Sheridan, C.W. Chaplin, Gen. Benjamin Butler, Gen. James B. McPherson and Gen. Samuel R. Curtis (w/name inked/penciled under image). CDV w/small Grant image has replaced paper seal on reverse. VG/Fine overall. Butler has .5x2" streak of faint moisture staining. VG/Fine. Others have some scattered aging/dust soiling and lt. edge wear. Fine/VF. overall.
