Item Description
Pair of knives w/leather sheaths. First measures 8.25" long and has antler handle w/brass pegs and accent plate. Civil War era Bowie style knife, blade is marked "J. Rogers No. 5 - Norfolk St." Blade shows wear w/aging as does handle. Fine overall. Comes w/original sheath, which shows moderate wear w/tip off and strap broken. VG. Second measures 7" long and has blade marked "Canton." 1890s. Celluloid handle w/typed insert reading "Waldport No. 62" w/fraternal group Knights of the Maccabees "KOTM" globe logo. Celluloid has aged but VF overall. Comes w/original sheath which shows wear w/cracking to leather surface and .5" seam split near tip and broken strap/loop. VG.
