Item Description
Lot of three, each 10" dia. tin litho decorative serving trays w/advertising on reverse of two. c. 1900. One features close-up portrait of brunette woman w/hairband and hoop earrings and faint "Bentz, The Druggist" text on reverse. Small text notes 1907 copyright along edge of portrait. Edge wear w/streaks of bare metal showing and some scattered wear to tray surface and bare metal has some oxidation. VG/Fine. Second tray has image of brunette woman (Ariadne, daughter of Minos of Crete) w/flower sash over her shoulder. Reverse side has "Compliments Of Morse Furniture Co." of Boston, MA. text. Scattered lt. wear/aging. VF. Both these trays have great Art Nouveau borders. Last tray features scene w/great Art Nouveau scene of tropical fish (w/Japanese influence) and has tiny 1908 copyright at bottom center edge. Reverse is w/o text/ad. Exc.
