9.5x16.5x2.25" deep cardboard box w/illustrated lid contains English set from 1942 by the British Thomson-Houston Co., Ltd. Lid features large images of Bambi, Thumper and Flower as well as the light set itself appears on lid and side panels. Same lid art also appears on the large flip-up insert. Box lid shows moderate edge/corner tip wear and is evenly aged. Lid has one corner split and 3" edge split. VG overall. Insert has some handling wear w/creasing and is Fine. Complete amount of 12 plastic shades w/glass bulbs and original wiring complete w/American-style plug, decals on shades feature eight different Bambi (two being duplicate images) scenes and one shade is w/o decal.
