12" long tin litho wind-up toy w/built-in key. c. 1935. Text reads "Flash Gordon - ©King Features Syndicate - Rocket Fighter." This is version w/"5" number on side fins, but w/o Flash name and design accents like those seen on following item #2510. Complete, all original and working, traveling forward and sparking as a pinging sound is heard. Some small scattered paint nicks/wear, mostly to side fins. Bright, glossy and Fine/VF. Classic Flash Gordon toy.
