Item Description
13-3/8" dia. tin litho tray features great image of the Roman God Vulcan holding aloft a lit torch while holding a "Climax" shield at his side. He stands on blazing range-top. The Taplin, Rice-Clerkin Co of Akron, OH. c. early 1900s. Tray has all over crazing and scattered paint wear in the form of a few nicks/scratches. Extreme margin (just above "C" in "Climax" on rim) has tiny nail hole. Tray remains glossy w/deep, rich colors. Fine overall.
