Item Description
3.25" tall beautiful figurine by the famous German company. c. 1932. This is #651 in the series w/incised number under base along w/"Rosenthal" company mark. Expressive pose of him winding up to throw discus. Nose and one ear are professional replacements and look as made, figurine still displays NM. All Rosenthal figurines are rare, particularly in the US as they were never distributed here. Rosenthals are considered to be the finest Mickey Mouse figurines ever produced. The only other example of this figurine we have offered in the past was the photo example from the Hake Disney Guide that sold for $4,830. From the Maurice Sendak Collection and comes with COA.
