Item Description
9.25" long tin litho toy w/built-in key is designed like zeppelin on wheels, covered in question mark motif and large "What's It? Trade Mark" text. Tin litho clown driver from waist up holds steering wheel. "No. 53" on tail fins. Ferdinand Strauss Corp., marked "Strauss Mechanical Toys." 1920s. Actions work and include toy rears up and down, moves back and forth and clown driver spins around. All over even aging w/some scattered wear in the form of small nicks/scratches. Tips of toy shows some more wear w/some small spots of bare metal. Fine overall.
