Item Description
Each approximately 3.5x5.5". First is "Who Is Going To Win The Race?" Lower portion of card has two attached disks with instructions "Roll Wheels On Table And See Candidates Run." Light dust. 1908 postmark. About Fine. Next is mechanical elephant with text "Pull For Your Candidate/For President." Pull tail and Taft appears. 1908 postmark. Next is large embossed brass shell rooster attached to card reading "I Crow For Taft." Notation on back. Last is silvered brass shell elk. Probably more Elk's related than campaign but c.1908 when "Bill" Bryan and "Bill" Taft inspired the "Hello Bill!" slogan. Unused. Julie Powell Collection.
