Item Description
First is 7.25" tall by 10" handle to spout. Smiling "Chin-Up" caricature of FDR appears on high relief front. Eight pin dot recesses appear on forehead as made. Does not detract from overall appearance of this wonderfully executed pitcher. Back panel reads "Happy Days Are Here Again." Bottom is marked "Stangl." Comes with three 4" tall matching mugs each with "Happy Days Are Here Again" text on back. Mug characters include FDR, Exc. Al Smith appears with cigar in mouth. 1.5" hairline visible to inside back. Still displays Fine. Last is James Farley with two 2" hairlines visible inside. Obviously inspired by the repeal of the 18th amendment. Much rarer in green than brown. All faces display Exc. Julie Powell Collection.
