Obviously inspired by Charles Lindbergh's historic transatlantic flight in 1927, plane is styled to look like The Spirit of St. Louis and wings have raised "Lindy" name. Right wing has partial decal of the period added by original owner showing an aviator standing by plane of the era. This decal shows heavy wear, w/only about 50% remaining and name is mostly illegible, decal could be removed if desired. Original nickel-plated wheels, cowl and propeller. Plane is marked "1718" on inside of body castings. Scattered wear to "Lindy" name w/scattered paint wear and dust soiling to edges of wings, body and tail fins. Fine overall.
