Item Description
Original illustrated cardboard box contains 10.5" long hard plastic truck w/rubber tires and "Pepsi-Cola" decals on doors and "Pepsi-Cola - Bigger - Better" decals along top center of bed area. Back of bed has large "Drink Pepsi" bottle cap decal. Truck comes w/four plastic 24-bottle cases, each w/small "Pepsi-Cola" name on sides. Marx. Decals and soda cases have Pepsi's double dot logo which was only used in the 1940s, usage ending 1951, thus dating this truck to about 1950. Box is missing one of two main end flaps as well as one inner flap and has remaining flaps on this end reattached w/tape. Box has even moderate aging and is VG overall but still scarce and nice for display. Cases are complete and free of cracks. Exc. Truck's decals show moderate darkening due to original adhesive, w/scattered edge flakes, still 98% complete. Truck has trace of lt. wear but is VF.
