Item Description
Original cardboard box contains complete and unassembled two-piece painted pressed steel airplane by The John C. Turner Co., 1930s. Box lists toy as "Aeroplane No. 711" and shows scattered lt. wear w/creases and 1" puncture to side panels and glue repairs to tears at end corners. Box is o/w complete and still displays well. VG. Main body of plane is 20.5" long and wings are 18" long and comes with original paper bag/wrapping. Original "Turner Toys" rubber wheels have hardened w/age but are totally intact and w/o cracks as is typically seen w/rubber tires on toys of this age. Toy has trace aging but is o/w NM, old store stock and appears to have never been assembled. Rare w/box. For catalog photo we just placed wings on top of fuselage. As nice as these come.
