Item Description
Original cardboard box contains complete and unassembled two-piece painted pressed steel airplane by Buddy "L" Sales Co. Inc., 1940s. Box lists toy as "No. 603 Buddy 'L' Transport Plane" and shows scattered lt. wear to opened end w/typed mailing address label. Box is complete and VF/Exc. Main body of plane is 19.5" long and wings (w/four engines, each w/moving propellers) are 27" long. One blade on one propeller is broken off. Original wooden wheel at front of plane body and pair of wooden wheels on wings section. Front of plane has "Buddy L Transport Plane" decals under cockpit. Right side of plane body has some deformity to metal, but this appears to be as produced and is not overly distracting. Scattered aging but o/w Exc., old store store and appears to have never been assembled. For catalog photo we just placed fuselage on top of wings. Original box is scarce in this condition.
