c. 1950s. Original cardboard box contains 13.25" long painted pressed steel "#3409 Buddy 'L' Half-Track Mobile Artillery Unit" w/rubber tank treads and original "Buddy 'L' Toys" rubber tires as well as 10" long Howitzer unit w/original "Buddy 'L' Toys" rubber tires and real firing action w/included small plastic "missiles." Text on box also includes "Buddy L Toys, Moline Pressed Steel Corporation." Box has some lt. scattered wear w/1.5" sliver off one end flap and two large areas of moisture staining along edge. VG/Fine. Toy comes on original cardboard insert and aside from small scratch on hood and trace of even aging to Half-Track decals, set is NM, old store stock. As nice as these come.
