Item Description
Large 27" long two-piece wooden truck produced by Buddy "L" Sales, 1940s. Made during WWII of wood and pressed fiberboard due as all metal was needed for war efforts. Truck cab hood has "Buddy L Wood Toy" decal, but majority is missing. Cab has moderate scattered wear including .25x.5" dent along edge of roof. Hitch plate is split in two. VG. Trailer has large "Buddy L Van Lines - Long Distance Moving" decals on both sides. These have scattered moderate aging and wear. VG/Fine. Truck has opening gate door on back, but missing original knob. Fine overall.
