Item Description
Pair of 9.25x12.25" publications - Vol. 106 #6 Feb. 6, 1932 and Vol. 116, #2 July 7, 1934. 1932 issue includes special MGM section within that includes Greta Garbo, "Laemmle Jubilee" feature and photo showing great movie theater display for "Frankenstein." Issue has some handling wear w/some spine flakes/splits. Fine w/Exc. contents featuring superb graphics. 1934 issue includes full page ad in Universal preview section for "Bride Of Frankenstein" showing art featuring Frankenstein's Monster w/much more human-looking Bride than featured in the film. This was well before the April 1935 release of the film. Issue also includes back-to-back full page ads for Fleischer "Popeye" and "Betty Boop" cartoons. Cover is loose and has moderate spine wear scattered edge wear w/slight fade. Good/VG overall w/Exc. contents featuring superb graphics. Both had limited distribution.
