Item Description
Large 13x19x10.5" tall cardboard box contains complete set that includes 11.5" long painted pressed steel Jeep (w/folding windshield and extra rubber tire on side), 18.5" long painted pressed steel Army truck (w/open bed and wire stanchions for using "U.S. Army" canvas covering), 12.5" long painted pressed steel searchlight base w/hard plastic generator motor and working hard plastic "U.S. Army" searchlight w/on/off switch, hard plastic "Howitzer Cannon" in its own illustrated cardboard box (w/original bag of wooden shells) and 16 small plastic Marx soldiers in various poses. Soldiers are in original paper bag. Marx, c. 1956. Box has original cardboard inserts and packing paper. Top has been neatly sliced open and is moderately aged. VG/Fine. All main vehicles have rubber tires marked "Lumar" on metal hubs. NM overall as packaged. Howitzer box shows obvious wear w/one edge separated (could be easily re-glued). VG/Fine. Contents appear unused. Old store stock. First we've seen of this extensive set in our 47 years.
