Item Description
Original illustrated red variety cardboard box contains 11" long tin litho battery-operated squad car. Box has loose (but included) end flap and is evenly aged w/scattered wear. Original store price sticker on one main panel w/additional grease pencil price. VG. Dick Tracy, Chief Brandon, Sam Catchem and Pat Patton are shown seated in car. Doors have Tracy image/name in shield design. Below image reads "©1949 F.A. Synd." Text on body includes "Dick Tracy - Police Department - Squad Car No. 1." Plastic light/siren on top has white plastic socket and battery-operated light bulb that no longer lights. Light switch at back window. On/off switch at driver's side bumper on underside. Toy works and comes w/key, travels forward w/siren noise. Toy shows scattered lt. wear in the form of small paint nicks/scratches but retains bright, glossy colors. VF.
