Item Description
Original cardboard box contains 15" long painted pressed steel pick-up truck No. 875 and separate 10.75" long painted pressed steel two-wheel trailer. Marx, c. 1958. Box is complete w/original cardboard insert and is Exc. Truck features removable tin litho simulated stake sides (w/large "Lazy-Day Dairy Farms" signs) and doors have "Lazy-Day Dairy Farms" decals w/cow and plated metal grille/headlight unit. Truck and trailer have working tailgates and hard plastic wheel hubs w/Wyandotte rubber tires (Marx bought Wyandotte parts stock when they went out of business in the mid-1950s). Driver's side door decal has some glue seepage and both have aging to edges of decals, but both are complete. Truck and trailer have a few small scattered spots but are o/w Exc., old store stock.
