Item Description
7.5x10.5" illustrated envelope contains 14.25x20.25" nicely illustrated stiff paper gameboard/map. ©1933 Stephen Schlesinger Inc. Three versions of this game exist - American, Australian and Canadian, all w/different issuers. This Canadian version was issued by Weston's English Quality Biscuits. Front of envelope features map, back has instructions w/playing pieces to be cut out. These include character head markers of Tarzan, Akut, Numa and Sheeta w/numbered pieces. Envelope is missing flaps and has some handling wear/aging to margins w/.5" to .75" tears along left edge. Playing pieces remain uncut. VG/Fine. Gameboard features large image of Tarzan w/Weston's logo. Back is lightly aged but front remains totally bright and clean. 1.5" archival tape repair on back at left edge by fold line. VF. Scarce w/envelope playing pieces uncut.
