11" dia. handled cake plate by same French company as #1971, #1983-1985, #1987-1988. Center features great full body image of Mickey Mouse jumping into the air at carnival/circus w/Ferris wheel, big tops and sideshow in bkg. Text below reads "Hop-La!," a French phrase that means "here we go." Underside has Mickey Mouse image/Walt Disney authorization and company stamp. Scattered wear w/small scratches to Mickey image and wear to silver luster highlights on handles. Fine overall. Rare. From the Maurice Sendak Collection and comes with COA.
