4.5" long cardboard box w/hinged lid contains pocketwatch w/2" dia. metal case. 1934. Box is complete w/separate brick design cardboard insert to hold fob although fob is not included. Comes w/Ingersoll guarantee paper w/has left edge curl and tiny tears. Fine. Same art appears on inside/outside of lid and features Practical Pig building his brick house w/inset portrait of the Wolf. Inside image is slightly offset and has .25" surface paper scratch to pricing area. Lid has one corner split and scattered aging/wear, mostly along edges including some color rubs. Fine overall. Dial features great full figure images of Three Pigs plus large Wolf head w/separate eye that moves as seconds tick. Runs but does not keep time. Back of case is designed like a brick wall w/large door at center w/incised text "May The Big Bad Wolf Never Come To Your Door - Walt Disney." Text still has a large percentage of the red accent paint to lettering, this is usually missing. Slightest silver luster wear to case. Dial is bright and clean w/very strong color, especially to the red bkg. (prone to fading). Aging at center to white paint on watch hands but overall still a VF/Exc. example of this classic Disney character timepiece. Scarce w/box and in this condition.
