Item Description
Nicely designed 1950s toy by Rich Toys. Pull toy is both wood and tin litho w/overall length of 21". The milk wagon's wooden roof is marked "City Dairy" while tin litho sides have "Rich's - 1922" text and image of dairy cow. This is version w/"GR-3-2569" telephone number on side. Back has "Milk & Cream" text and Rich Toys logo. Rich Toys also produced this toy in a Borden's Dairy version during the 1930s (see item #1362). Complete w/original eye screws used to join wagon and horse together. Tin litho portions of wagon have scattered wear (more noticeable to interior), as do painted wooden wheels. Horse has some scattered wear and is missing original pull string. Fine overall.
