Pair of silk-screened felt caps issued in the 1940s, both featuring full body images of Captain Marvel. First is skull cap/beanie w/flattened diameter of 10". 1945 Fawcett premium. Features three different Captain Marvel image panels, all labeled "Capt. Marvel" w/Fawcett Publications Inc. copyright underneath. Panel featuring image of Captain Marvel standing w/one hand on hip and other by his side has obvious wear w/nearly 1" hole. Image panels have aging but felt is not faded. VG. 5x10.75" felt "Overseas-Type Cap" design including simulated piping. Each side features a different Captain Marvel image along w/"Capt. Marvel" name and Fawcett Publications Inc. copyright. 1944. White felt has overall age toning w/some tiny scattered tan age dots. Appearance still remains quite clean and cap shows very little in the way of creases. VF. Listed in Hake's Pop Culture Memorabilia as less than five known examples. Caps come w/8-3/8x11" double-sided sheet showing numerous Captain Marvel premiums, including the "Overseas-Type Cap" offered in this lot. Folded as mailed w/handling wear. Fine.
