Item Description
Long-sleeve shirt is child's Size 8 as marked at collar tag. Collar has "His Nibs - Sanforized" tag. ©1948 Fawcett Publications Inc. as marked below shirt image. High quality shirt features same 7.5" tall image of "Captain Marvel" flying through clouds on front/back. Front features four plastic button front in fancy overlap style. Shoulders both have 2.75x3.5" tall shield-shaped felt "Captain Marvel Club" patch added by original child owner. These make for a nice customization on their part. Patches show scattered wear to silk-screened design and are VG/Fine. Shirt is moderately aged w/scattered moisture staining. Fine overall. Among the rarest Captain Marvel items and the first example we've seen in our 47 years.
