Item Description
c. 1960. First is a 8.5x11" 1960 retailer catalog featuring all four ships in lot. Next is trade publication "Plastics Merchandiser" Vol.10 No.1 featuring two of the models in lot as well as models from other companies of the era. Slt. wear, both VF. Factory built display models in lot are the Aurora "Famous Viking Ship" and "Cutty Sark" both with retailer cardboard bases attached. Cutty Sark has some rigging repair but displays VF. Viking ship has moderate wear/aging to base and label with model still VF. Next are "Chinese Junk" in VF and "USS Nautilus" submarine in Exc. An impressive group of models that helped make Aurora one of the best.
