Item Description
Pair of 9x10" hardcovers w/40/48 pages. Whitman. ©1935 Walt Disney Enterprises. Books feature full page illustrations throughout in both bw and choice full color. Same art is repeated on front and back of both dust jackets and book covers. "The Robber Kitten" DJ has scattered margin wear including small tears and a large 2.5x2.75" piece missing from bottom of spine edge and smaller .5" piece missing at top. Jagged 3.75" tear across spine. Just Good but Scarce. Pages have very lightly aged but remain totally clean. Cover has just small trace of corner tip/edge wear but remains clean and bright. VF overall. "The Three Orphan Kittens" DJ shows obvious wear w/tears, creases and corner tip wear. VG. Cover itself has some edge wear but colors remain strong. Fine. Pages are lightly aged but clean and VF. These two books are each one of the few vintage items produced for these Silly Symphony cartoons.
