16-Volume folio set was published and ©1912 The War Memorial Association, Inc. - New York. Each volume features same cover design w/full body images of Union and Confederate soldiers w/rifles and "1861-1865" date as well as "Illustrated With Reproductions Of The Brady War Photographs By Permission Of The War Department - Washington D.C." text, noting "Published In Sixteen Sections With A Great Battlefield Series In Full Color By Ogden, Thulstrup, Davidson & Others." Ogden provided the folio cover art. Written by Benson J. Lossing LLD. Volume Two has all over even cover fade and a few small spine chips/splits. VG. Volume Four has .75" piece off upper left cover. Moisture mark at bottom left along spine, this does not show on covers but interior pages have 1x2" to 2x4" areas of moisture staining at this area. This shows most on Volume Two and much less so on others. Size and severity decreases as pages advance, majority of pages only a faint mark is seen. Overall a very sound set w/fragile covers in exceptionally nice condition compared to how these are typically found. Fine overall.
