Item Description
9.25x12.25" thin cardboard sign w/metal grommet at top center for hanging has great Art Nouveau-inspired image of classic Devil riding bicycle as he chases down fleeing pig w/pitchfork. For Boston, MA canning company Wm. Underwood Co. 1905-1910. In addition to Underwood's "Original Deviled Ham," sign lists "Tongue - Turkey - Chicken - Lobster" products as well. Back of sign has large text reading "Please Hang Up." Sign shows moderate edge wear w/corner creasing and some edge foxing. Slightly trimmed bottom margin, though this does not affect main sign text or image. Fine overall.
