Item Description
Lot of four, three in original cardboard boxes. Produced during war years for use in training soldiers, sailors and airmen to identify airplanes, friend and foe. Each plane model is made of molded plastic and has hole on back, likely for attaching a string for display. Included here is loose P-38 Lightning w/8.5" wingspan, two boxed P-51 Mustangs w/6" wingspans and boxed British Spitfire IX A Supermarine w/6" wingspan. P-51s come in plain chipboard boxes which show wear and are Fine overall. Spitfire comes in box w/label on side noting plane's name. Scattered wear as opened, Fine/VF. Planes have hardened w/age but are free of any chips, cracks or warping. Exc./NM.
