22.75x33" paper poster for 1973 Polish release of the 1972 musical film directed by Bob Fosse and starring Liza Minnelli, Michael York and Joel Grey. Poster has large "Kabaret" title at top and features stunning art by Polish artist Wiktor Gorka (co-founder of the Polish Poster School), w/Nazi swastika created by stocking-clad performers' legs, a stylized depiction of Minnelli's face at center. This design ties in w/the film's story as it set in Berlin during the Weimar Republic in 1931, under the ominous presence of the growing Nazi Party. Poster has moderate wear to bottom corners, each w/several creases, but poster has not been folded and would display VF if matted and framed.
