12x12" album cover for the Japanese release soundtrack album, released in 1965 by Hua Sheng Records. Front of cover has been signed in black or blue felt tip pen by eight cast members of the 1965 American musical film directed and produced by Robert Wise that starred Julie Andrews and Christopher Plummer. Andrews has signed in black felt tip pen, alongside the seven von Trapp children - Charmian Carr, Heather Menzies, Kym Karath, Duane Chase and Angela Cartwright having also signed in black felt tip pen; Chase adding "Kurt" character name and Cartwright adding "Brigitta" character name. Nicholas Hammond and Debbie Turner have signed in blue felt tip pen; Turner adding "Marta" character name. Cover has some lt. handling wear w/1/8" nick and tear along upper left edge (not affecting signatures), but cover remains bright and still displays VF/Exc. Comes w/record. A very obscure piece to have signed by the cast and most likely unique as such. Something truly different for fans of this Rodgers and Hammerstein musical. Comes with Hake's COA and JSA LOA.
