2-7/8" tall painted hollow figural cast metal head w/attached painted tin hat w/patriotic rwb color scheme. c. 1890s. Head and hat show moderate paint wear, about 50% remaining, scattered bare metal showing w/some scattered trace oxidation on hat. VG overall. Rare and first we've seen.
