Original illustrated cardboard hinged-lid box contains 1.25x1.5" silver luster metal watch by Ingersoll (see previous item #908). 1930s. Box lid features Official Boy Scout seal and has some scattered small age spots. Underside of lid also has Official Boy Scout seal. Lid hinge is a bit fragile, but still attached. Box is tight w/original insert. VF. Die-cut insert holds watch w/original metal link band. This is dial variation that features standard second dial, w/small hand that revolves as seconds progress. Rest of dial design remains the same. Watch has original double-sided small cardboard string tag w/"Ingersoll Official Boy Scout Writs Watch" text on each side, along w/original $3.50 purchase price. Watch winds, but is not running and just needs a simple cleaning and is o/w Exc. Rare w/box. See following items #910-911.
