Item Description
This piece is unlisted in Sullivan and Hake. Overall it is 6" tall with the top portion in embossed tin showing die-cut eagle above circle containing shield design with surrounding text "Protected And Then Produced/American Tin 1892/Protection/Reciprocity." About 50% of the silver luster remains. Reverse has a long 2" stickpin. A pair of pointed tabs join this piece to a 4" fabric ribbon with gold printed designs and candidate portraits. Ribbon portion is Exc. with just the tiniest bit of gold color loss across Harrison's neck. Only example we've seen. Don & Mildred Wright Collection.
