Item Description
All pieces are in brass and sizes are about 1.25" to 1.5" tall. Each has a stickpin fastener. First is a brass shell gold bug with a "Sound Money" medallion hanging from the head. Next is a non-mechanical figural gold bug stickpin. Next is a running pig brass shell with a silver toned medallion fastened at the tail. This piece reads on each side "16 To 1" with the concept being that the Democrats idea of the silver to gold monetary ratio is 'In A Pigs Ass.' Last is a figural brass shell money bag inscribed on the front "Sound/$Money." NM to Mint. Julie Powell Collection.
